the Drawing Sesh: drawings from our EMOTIONS workshop (14/11)
Hi all, we’re sharing with you our drawings from our Drawing Sesh EMOTIONS workshop (14/11). For 2 hours we explored ways of conveying emotions through painting and drawing, looking at relevant artists as a starting point, such as Marlene Dumas (b. 1953) and Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736-1783).
We used a range of techniques, including ink, watercolour, wax pastel and cut-outs to express a spectrum of emotions. Over the course of 2 hours, we did a series of 10 x 10 min drawings on an A4 format, shown below.
