What is Demo Dema?

We’re an art duo, Karolina Dema & Virgile Demo, based in Brussels, Belgium. We’ve been together and side-by-side since 2019. We are painters, illustrators and producers.

How can I buy your work?

Thank you for your interest! We’re selling more than 400 drawings and paintings from several series, including the Birds Archives, Paris 2024, Artists Portraits, Animals, Fashion and more. A price list for our drawing series, A ROOM FULL OF SIGNS, is available upon request: info@demodema.com.

How do you price your work?

Our pricing considers several factors, including format, technique, time spent on the piece, year of creation, as well as material costs, studio expenses, and applicable taxes. We aim to maintain consistent price ranges across series for clarity. Current prices range from 222 EUR to 555 EUR, plus shipping.

Does the price include shipping?

Shipping costs are not included in our prices. Please see the postage terms below for more information.

Shipping Terms
Orders typically dispatch from our studio in Brussels, Belgium, within one week. For shipping within Europe, please allow 5-7 working days for delivery from the date of shipment. For deliveries outside the Eurozone, please allow 5-14 working days

Packaging
Each drawing will be sent in their transparent sleeve and packed flat in a padded enveloppe. We make sure all artwork is wrapped thoroughly and safe for shipping.

Postage
Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Postage varies depending on the contents of your order and the delivery destination. We will ship using UPS, DPD, or BPost, and a tracking number will be provided.

Import Duties / Local Taxes
Please be aware that local charges (such as sales tax or customs duty) may apply, depending on your region and local customs regulations. These charges are the customer’s responsibility.

Colours 
Please note that colours of the artworks may differ from those displayed on your screen. While we strive to capture the colours accurately, monitor calibrations can vary. The way the artwork leaves the studio is the way Demo Dema intended it to be.

Original Drawings
Both Karolina Dema and Virgile Demo create works on fine art and printing paper; therefore, some yellowing of the paper may occur as part of the artistic process. All drawings are sprayed with fixative to preserve colour quality over time. We use lightfast media—including inks, watercolors, and acrylics—for durability. Original artworks are unique pieces of art, signed, titled, and dated either on the recto or verso.

Copyright
When you purchase an artwork, you become the owner of the physical piece; however, the copyright remains with Demo Dema. Reworking or reproducing the image without the written consent of Karolina Dema & Virgile Demo is not permitted.

Return policy
All purchases are final, and items cannot be returned.

Transport Damage
If your product is lost or damaged during transport, please report this to us immediately. All shipments are insured.
